Dear VAYA Members and Supporters,

Many thanks to those who came out and supported the Utility Box Painting Day (images above) and Vietnamese Heritage Flag Day @ Hoover High School. The event was a GREAT success. In continuing more events leading up to "Black April", VAYA will be participating in this year's Annual Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair this Saturday. The day after that will be the Community-Wide Black April Commemoration @ Hoover High School (4474 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115). For a complete listing of VAYA's upcoming events/meetings, please visit our official calendar at: http://www.vayasd.org/calendar/.

Lastly, VAYA is actively recruiting new staff to add to our team for the 2009-2010 year. We are ALSO recruiting new staff for our 2010 Tet Festival Committee with deadlines approaching this weekend. For details on how to apply, please visit www.vayasd.org for information.
On behalf of VAYA's Executive Board and Staff, thank you for your continual support.
