Dear VAYA Members and Supporters,

With just a few weeks away from "Black April" (April 30th), VAYA is diligently working with many different organizations on this collaborative event. The "Black April Committee" now meets every Friday at 6:30 PM @ the Community Resource Center (4635 El Cajon / San Diego, CA 92115) to work on this project. Please visit our web site or calendar http://www.vayasd.org/calendar/ to get the latest updates on events and meetings leading up to "Black April". If you are interested in joining the "Black April Committee", please email VAYA Secretary, Anthony (Vinh) Nguyen secretary@vayasd.org.

Lastly, VAYA is actively recruiting new staff to add to our team for the 2009-2010 year. We are ALSO recruiting new staff for our 2010 Tet Festival Committee. For details on how to apply, please read the details on this newsletter or visit www.vayasd.org for information.
